The Experience
You can arrive at Alton Towers Resort first thing, giving yourself enough time to park and grab a quick snack or coffee before heading into the waterpark. Once inside, change into your swimwear, store your belongings in a locker, and pick up any last-minute essentials from the shop.
Next, kick off your day by relaxing on the Lazy River or, if you're feeling more adventurous, try the Master Blaster Water Coaster for an exciting start. After that, head over to Lagoona Bay to splash around in the open pools and take a dip in the bubble pools.
Next up, challenge yourself with the Flash Floods outdoor slides, racing down flumes and making a splash. Afterward, explore the Wacky Waterworks Treehouse, where you can enjoy water cannons, fountains, and the excitement of the huge tipping bucket.
You can take a break for lunch at the Adventurers’ Cave within the waterpark, which offers a variety of family-friendly meals like pizzas and sandwiches. If you prefer a sit-down experience, the Secret Garden Restaurant at the Alton Towers Hotel is a great option for a wider selection of dishes.
After lunch, relax in the Bubbly Wubbly Pool, an outdoor heated hot tub that's perfect for some downtime. Feeling recharged, take on the thrilling Rush and Rampage water slides, speeding through twists and turns for an adrenaline rush.
The afternoon can be for a spin and slide down the Water Vortex, an enclosed ride filled with exciting twists, before cooling off under the giant tipping buckets. If you're visiting with younger children, 3:30 PM is a great time to explore Little Leak, a play area designed for smaller kids with gentle slides and water sprays.
Finally, wrap up your day by floating along the Lazy River one last time, before grabbing a snack and starting to wind down your visit.
