The Experience
You will begin your boat tour from the picturesque fishing village of Howth to discover the stunning coastline of Dublin. You will admire the views of the UNESCO-listed Dublin Bay Biosphere and the protected nature reserve of Ireland's Eye, along with its sea caves and vibrant marine life.
Your tour will depart from the harbor in Howth and glide across the water while taking in the beautiful sights of the Dublin Bay Biosphere. Make sure you keep an eye out for seasonal sea life, including puffins, seals, gannets, and guillemots.
You will marvel at the majestic Howth Cliffs and village as your guide shares tales and insider trivia about the area. Explore the nooks and crannies along the island's waterline, where breathtaking views of the natural landscape and its wildlife await.
During your boat tour, you will see the impressive freestanding rock known as "the Stack" at the northeastern corner of the island, which hosts a variety of seabirds. Finally, conclude your tour back at the harbor, where you can enjoy the charming ambiance of this historic fishing village.
Vital Information
Meet at "Ireland's Eye Ferries Boats." From the train station: Turn left and after 50m take a left turn down unto the West Pier. Continue down the pier with trawlers on the right and restaurants to your left. Near the end of the pier, just past Aqua Restaurant, you'll see ferry boats on the right in the harbor.
