The experience

Have you always wanted to know where and how to find truffles? How to find the precious tubers? How they are processed correctly? Then you have come to the right place. After your arrival you can enjoy a rich evening meal. Here you will get the first information about truffles and their preparation in the kitchen. The next morning the truffle hunt begins. The group is supported by Rocco, the truffle dog and his owner. With a bit of luck, then one returns with back to the house with a hand full of own truffles. In the meantime, the chefs wife was already shopping at the farmers' market and has begun preparations in the kitchen. After a hearty lunch and some rest, you are introduced to the secrets of truffle processing. But not only that, you also get a deep insight into the Istrian cuisine. Many rulers have left their traces there, Venetians, Habsburgs and Croats. Thus, the kitchen has become a mixture of specialties of these influences. In the evening the dishes are then washed down with excellent wines. After a restful night in the cozy rooms and a hearty breakfast the grouop visits an olive oil producer and can taste an oil manufactured by hand. With a bit of olive oil and one way or another truffle in the backpack, the journey home can begin.

This experience includes three days in Istria with two nights including breakfast, a guided truffle hunt, a cooking class, two dinners as well as continuous care.
