The Experience
Your Helicopter Flying Lesson will begin with a pre-flight briefing which consists of safety instructions, familiarisation with the cockpit and all of it's controls.
This experience allows you to be in full control of the helicopter for 40 minutes whilst being instructed by our experienced pilots. Within the experience you will learn how to do climbs, descents, straight and level flight, as well as the option of experiencing a simulated engine failure for the more adventurous experience hunters.
During your helicopter flight you will be able to enjoy the view of the beautiful Irish landscape. A truly unforgettable experience.
Vital Information
Participants must be over 15 years and must be able to enter/exit the helicopter unaided. Maximum weight of participants is 125 kg/19.5 stone at Newcastle airport. Maximum weight for Weston airport of participants is 90 kg/14 stone.
The Weather
For safety reasons this Helicopter Flying Lesson is dependent on visibility and wind conditions. In case of unsuitable weather conditions Experience Hunters will be informed on the date of the experience.
Session Length
Your whole Lesson will last 40 minutes, with 15 minute introduction plus 25 minutes flight time.
Numbers
As this is a one-to-one experience only one person can partake in the lesson. This voucher is valid for one person.
Spectators
Are warmly welcome to watch you during your lesson witnessing you take off and land from our viewing gallery including restaurant facilities. Please feel free to bring a pair of binoculars and a camera.
What To Wear
Wear loose, comfortable clothing during your helicopter flying lesson, as the cockpit can get warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
Availability
This flying lesson is available 7 days a week during daylight hours. Please be advised that Dublin City Centre is a Prohibited Landing Zone.
