The Experience

Enjoy an unforgettable lake tour in Killarney followed by a traditional jaunting car ride for four people.

Step aboard the MV "Lily of the Valley and cruise around Lough Leanne to capture some outstanding views of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain and the ancient Oak and Yew forests at Ross Island. You will also see the ruins of St. Finian's Monastery on Innisfallen Island and O'Sullivan's Cascade. 

After the cruise you will  ride along the stunning lakeshore on a traditional jaunting car. You will travel through the beautiful Killarney National Park, rambling along past Deenagh Lodge and Killarney House. Sit back, relax and enjoy the comfort of the cart as you learn about the Legend of the Lake and the history of Ross Castle from the guide, whilst enjoying the magnificent landscape.

Don't forget your camera to capture memories of the outstanding scenery you will see on this fantastic boat tour and jaunting car ride in Killarney.

Vintage Newspaper From The Day You Were Born We recently purchased this gift for our mum who turned 95 this year. She loves to read the daily paper so we thought this would be the perfect gift for her. She is delighted with it and we spend a good deal of time looking through it and chatting about the past and growing up in Ireland.

It is beautifully bound and presented. In addition to the paper of her birth date, major events in the decade she was born are also included. It is hard to believe that you can get an entire newspaper print from 1925 - well done to those who had the foresight to save all this history. The quality of the print is good and some of it is quite small which is understandable due to the age of this paper. But the help of the varifocals and a magnifying glass, we are not missing out on any details!
