The Experience
The award-winning snow restaurant opens as an all-year-round attraction this coming winter. You can enjoy a delicious hot 3-course meal by the ice tables among other winter activities. Enjoy a full 3-course dinner or a light soup menu in the spectacular surroundings of the all-year-round snow restaurant! Enjoy the snow-built, ice-adorned restaurant-milieu. Steaming hot meals and delicious drinks from glasses made of ice. A wintry experience you should not miss up on!
3-COURSE MEALS:
Starter
Creamy parsnip soup with porcini mushrooms and burnt leek
Main courses
Local lamb braised in dark beer with apple & date purée, glazed root vegetables and mashed potatoes*
Beef brisket braised in red wine with red onion marmalade, glazed root vegetables and mashed potatoes*
Charred whitefish with a lemon-brown butter sauce, fried kale, glazed root vegetables and mashed potatoes*
Grilled chicken with fried with a creamy dijon-rosemary sauce, kale, glazed root vegetables and mashed potatoes*
Fried chickpea tofu with herb mayonnaise, fried kale, glazed root vegetables and mashed potatoes*
* We use a special northern variety of almond potato called the Lapin Puikula (PDO). It's acclimatized only to the cold climate of the northernmost areas of Finland and a common ingredient in traditional Lapland cuisine. The potato has a characteristic buttery taste and aroma with a yellow, floury flesh.
Dessert
Arctic berry crumble with warm salted caramel, vanilla sauce and meringue
SOUP MENU:
Reindeer soup or seafood chowder served with rye bread and roasted garlic butter

Dress code
Warm winter clothing including a hat, gloves and a neck warmer. The temperature inside the Snow Castle and the Snow Restaurant is always at a chilly -5°C.
Cancellation policy
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before event
