The Experience
Experience the thrill of surfing in Pembrokeshire, an ideal location for surfers of all levels.
With quiet beach breaks and gentle summer swells, our friendly instructors will teach you how to pick a wave, paddle into it and ride it to shore. This adventure is perfect for beginners, both adults and families, as well as those looking to improve their skills.
During the session, you’ll practice popping up on your board, finding your balance, and building confidence. Most importantly, you'll have fun, laugh, play and celebrate each other's successes.
What to Expect:
Beginner Surfer: Our instructors will teach you everything in easy, bite-sized chunks to ensure you feel comfortable in the sea.
Equipment: We provide all necessary gear, including full winter wetsuits, boots, surfboards, and bodyboards. We also have wetsuit hoods and gloves for colder conditions.
Safety: Our team brings a first aid kit to the beach and will carry any essential items for you.

Session Details:
Duration: 2.5 hours (including kitting up time)

Experience Level:
- Suitable for all abilities. You’ll be riding soft-top foam boards perfect for beginners.
Age Requirements:
Suitable for children aged 10 and above.
Children don’t require adult accompaniment in the water, but adults should stay nearby (e.g., on the beach or in the carpark).
What to Bring:
Bathers to wear under the wetsuit (provided)
A towel
Warm clothes for after the session
Meeting Point:
Typically at the South end of Newgale Beach, near Pebbles Cafe. Locations may change based on conditions, so check your booking confirmation.
The Weather
Surfing can generally take place in all weather conditions. Since plenty of venues are offered, we'll choose a location to suit the weather and the requirement of the group. Please note that bigger waves often means more excitement!
Session Length
This is a half day experience. You can expect to spend an approximately two and a half hours actually in, on or around the water on this surfing experience.
Numbers
Group sizes do vary - but you can be assured that you'll always have an appropriate client to instructor ratio.
Spectators
This adventure activity will take part along the Pembrokeshire coastline. It may be possible to view the activity from some points along the Pembrokeshire coastal path, but this can't be guaranteed. Please contact us for more specific details.
