The Experience
You and your family will soon be enjoying a close encounter with captivating and loveable animals. You could be flying an Owl from your arm, feeding a Giraffe, enjoying a family horse-ride, or even meeting the Meerkats! We’ve over 20 locations from Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and Republic of Ireland to choose your perfect family friendly trip from. We’ve based packages on 2 adults and 2 children (although we’ll do our very best to accommodate your specific family needs, so please do let us know). Some locations have minimum and maximum age limits, however your dedicated ‘Experience Hunter’ will be on hand to discuss your best options.
You’ll visit the zoo / animal attraction and be treated to extra special attention as you step behind the scenes to get up close and personal.
Vital Information
Many of the encounters are booked well in advance so we kindly request that you plan in your ideal dates with a minimum of 12 weeks' notice to avoid disappointment. Please remember you must have booked your trip no later than the deadline date or you will forfeit your voucher. Please note once arrangements have been finalised cancelations and amendments are unable to be made. Please do make as aware of your groups ages at the time they are participating in the zoo encounter as the locations have strict restrictions. Your health and safety is paramount so please carefully listen and follow all guidance and instructions given or you may be requested to terminate the experience.
In rare circumstances the zoo or animal location may need to amend the itinerary or cancel the visit, if this should occur you'll be offered a credit for this element of the package only.
The Weather
The experience will go ahead as planned in all weather conditions, unless in rare circumstances the location advises otherwise.
Session Length
The package includes a day at the zoo as part of your animal encounter and an overnight stay. The session lengths at the zoo vary, please speak to your Experience Hunter for more advice.
Numbers
The package is based on 2 adults and 2 children (those aged under 16). However if your group is different let us know and we'll do our very best to assist subject to a possible additional charge or the limitations of the location/encounter.
You'll be participating in an animal encounter and may join another group subject to the location's agenda.
Availability
Please remember to book your family trip well in advance to avoid disappointment and forfeiting your voucher. The animal encounters are very popular and limited in the annual numbers that can participate.

We have selected the most suitable accommodation for the package and is based on a family room or similar of 2 adults / 2 children sharing. If you have specific access needs and individual requirements please do let us know in advance so we can assist.
